How to import tickets from Dixa

Phase 1: Locating Your Credentials

To authenticate with the Dixa API, you need three pieces of information: your API Key (API token), your User ID (the agent that will send replies), and your Tenant Subdomain.

  1. Find your Tenant Subdomain: Look at your browser’s URL when logged into Dixa. It will look like https://your-store.dixa.com. In this case, your-store is your subdomain.
  2. Generate the API Key:
    • Click the Settings (gear) icon in the bottom-left corner.
    • Go to Integrations → API tokens.
    • Click Add API token, give it a name (for example, Zuzana), and copy the generated token straight away.
Note: Dixa only shows the token once. Copy and store it safely before leaving the page.
  3. Find your User ID: This is the Dixa agent used to send replies. Open Settings → Agents, click the agent you want Zuzana to reply as, and copy the user ID (the UUID shown in the page URL).

Phase 2: Connecting Dixa with Zuzana

Now that you have your Dixa API key, user ID, and tenant subdomain ready, it’s time to bridge the gap. Connecting these platforms allows Zuzana to import your tickets and start automating your workflow.

Follow these steps to complete the integration:

  1. Step 1: Navigate to Integrations: Log in to your Zuzana dashboard. Click on your profile name in the top right corner and select Settings from the dropdown menu. Once in the settings area, look at the left-hand sidebar under the General section and click on Integrations.
  2. Step 2: Select the Dixa Helpdesk: In the Integrations marketplace, scroll down to the Helpdesk category. Locate the Dixa card and click the pink Connect button.
  3. Step 3: Input your credentials: You will be redirected to the "Create Integration" screen. Fill in the following fields exactly as they appear in your Dixa account:
  • Enable Toggle: Ensure this is switched to the On (pink) position.
  • API Key: Paste the API token you generated in Phase 1.
  • User ID (for replies): Enter the Dixa user ID of the agent Zuzana should reply as.
  • Tenant Subdomain: Enter your Dixa subdomain.
  • Note: Only enter the unique part of your URL. For example, if your URL is https://brand-name.dixa.com, just enter brand-name.
  • Tag ID (optional): If you want Zuzana to tag the conversations it handles, enter the UUID of the Dixa tag to apply. Leave this blank if you don’t need it.
